Back in the Saddle – And Boy, Does it Feel Great!

photo
It’s almost two o’clock in the morning and I just finished the first chapter of my Camp NaNo piece. It’s an emotional chapter and I’m sitting here, tears streaming down my face, typing away like a madwoman on my computer. I have character cards, notes, Post Its, and endless bottles of water within reach and I’m writing. Not editing. Not proofreading. Writing.

I’m back in the saddle, and boy, does it feel great! 🙂

Good luck to all my fellow Campers out there! Here’s to a great month!
And, thanks to Amanda for showing me the word count widget (and teaching me how to use it!) I found one I like better and it’s here. Scroll to the bottom for the one that works well.

Congrats! It is such a rush to know to that your inner editor has a sock stuffed in its mouth and has been taken hostage by your inner writer. 😀

  2. Nice work for the first day! Love the new word counter!

Thanks! I was so proud of myself – I’m like the widget whisperer now! 🙂

I’m hoping to get some more writing done tonight. Sending good writing vibes your way today!
